- Description
- My client has acquired the “Listing Pro” Theme, as well as the “Job Monster” theme and the “Ad Forest” theme. They wanted to create a unified hub with a landing page which can grow with future additions, like Freelance theme, Task theme, Training theme and Project theme
OF COURSE IT WILL BE BEST IF ALL 3 WERE LAUNCHED AT THE SAME TIME, but for ease of implementation, the client can consider staged delivery by launching the Jobs or Directory themes first. So for clarity the client goal is set up a multi-theme site with sub domains/sections
• A Searchable Listing Directory (theme) SECTION for Service Vendors (whether they are Companies, Individuals, Teams, Freelancers Talented individuals, Collectives or Charities (organised by categories, sub categories and jurisdictions and with social, promotional and community features/micro sites) provided using a “Freemium” model with opportunities and a general quotation service
After that the Job Board and then the:
• A job Board (theme) SECTION
After that the Classified theme
• A Classified (theme) SECTION
The client got a designer to combine the 3 themes in one site using sub-domains. Uploaded themes on client’s hosting site but the set up needs to be completed and configured with
The key requirements of the original customisation was to
- enable single log in (using the Identity server which the client has already installed but needs configuration***
- Enable users to view their profile, avatar, listings and account settings from any page in all themes***
- Enable users to view their order history, invoices and check out from different themes on a combined page***
- Enable users to chat real time with other users across all the themes (with the option for moderated and unmoderated messaging)
- Enable users to send messages with inbox facility
- Enable search of all themes from Home page
- Ensure switching between themes can be done at the click of a button
- Ensure the themes and customisation are tested to ensure there are no bugs and to ensure it is tested for security and speed
- Parameter configuration (business model for directory, job and classified)
- Upload directory databases (for Directory theme)
- Configure Job and CV API feed (for Job theme)
- Configure Classified API feed (for classified theme)
- Enable the client’s brand and content are on all the themes
