- I believe this is the right title for the to-be project. Please note, there will be some materials you'll need to read to see if not this is a good fit and determine if it can actually be done. All prospective candidates must provide actual examples of previous work completed. This company is emerging from an incubator setting, there will be a lot of eyes, so everything must be perfect if we hire you. This proposed build-out will be done in the background will we operate our soft beta.
1- Our company is gearing up to launch a society shield solution and app in apple store and android. More info below.
2- We are exploring ways to: a) obviously integrate or allow users to register using facebook credentials; b) get this app to run within the facebook app environment? Thus allowing users to "join" the society shield app within the Facebook environment, and then our functionality flow through our shield when an alert or shield activated?
About Society Shield
The shield will be available through three different solutions: one, the consumer-facing app, two, the Proximity Shield and three, the Live Floor Plan Shield.
The consumer-facing The Society Shield™ APP is FREE for all consumers and connects users in and outside of an active event (active shooter event, domestic terrorism event, natural catastrophes (hurricanes, earthquakes), building fires and much more. The APP will be made available for both Apple and Android devices.
The consumer-facing Society Shield™ App comes to life when the "Proximity" and "Live Floor Plan" solutions are activated during an active event. The "Proximity" Shield is activated by our company and, other to-be-named, designated third parties and first alert apps. The "Live Floor Plan Shield" is activated by administrators or business owners who installed this shield at their places of business.
THE PROXIMITY SHIELD
This shield is designed for anything outside of an actual floor plan or basically anything located on a map. Public events, concerts, sporting events, and more fall under the Proximity Shield. We set the alerts and will also allow other apps or agencies to activate this shield in the near future. If there is an event, we map it, set a radius around the event and trigger the shield. Once triggered, the devices of all of the users who previously downloaded the FREE Society Shield™ will activate. The two solutions essentially unite and all of the functions are made available to the parties. Buildings or workspaces that are shielded with the Live Floor Plan Shield (below in #3) will also be activated if it's within the active proximity shield.
THE LIVE FLOOR PLAN SHIELD
This is the original shield solution we've been building for the past 9 months. Essentially anything with a floor plan can be shielded. And, as with The Proximity Shield, the Live Floor Plan Shield interfaces with the users of the Society Shield™ APP when activated by an administrator of a shielded location. The "Live Floor Plan Shield" is extremely affordable when compared to other home and business security systems.
