Requirements:
Make a page with a html form that lets someone post a comment then reply to that comment, then reply to a reply an unlimited number of times and continue to allow root comments or reply comments. The page of comments will have paging after 50 comments. So, each page will show only 50 comments, but it must be done with a closure table query which accurately gets all comments of the tree in the right order. It will not be one query per comment, but one query for each page. Then at bottom the user clicks next page, and it will show the next page of comments, etc. with no limit on pages. It should work accurately with 10 comments, or 1,000,000 comments.
Do in PHP/MySQL with nothing extra, like no recursive queries, no stored procedures, no other types of hierarchical techniques other than closure table. No other frameworks, no jquery, no sass, no bootstrap, no javascript libraries, no php libraries, no css libraries. Nothing but 100% custom code with no clutter. Some custom javascript is ok if using for form handling such as ajax.
You must prove that you have already done a "closure table" and send a URL link to a working demo and show a sample of the code that is 100% originally written by you.
I have posted this project 3 previous times and each time the developer I didn't know how to do a closure table and couldn't figure it out. They assumed they could and can't. So, now I'm being more specific with stronger requirements. This project does not allow a developer to bid and 'hope' they can solve it. Instead, they must already 100% know how to do it and have proof of their projects and show proof of their working code- that it was actually 100% their code and not something they just claim is theirs.
This project is an all or nothing project. If a developer gets it working 99% of the way, but doesn't quite work, then no payment will be made ($0). There is no partial credit for a broken script. It either works or doesn't, and you either already know how to do it or don't. If you already know how to do it, this is very easy for you- probably done in a couple hours- same day.
Any bids that don't answer the following questions will be deleted instantly:
1. How many closure tables have you made before?
2. What are the URLs to your working closure table projects?
3. Please attach a portion of your 100% originally written code for the closure table project. (I will do a comprehensive search to determine that it's not copied/pasted from a tutorial or lifted from someone else.)
4. How hard do you believe this will be for you on a scale of 1 (easy) to 10 (hard)?
5. What is your estimated timeframe to complete?
6. What is your total bid for this project? (Project basis, not hourly. This bid is final and won't change if accepted. Scope of project won't change. You have everything you need upfront. Ask any questions now before bidding.)
7. Do you agree to keep the code resulting from this project 100% confidential and not attempt to share, resell, distribute or use for other projects?
8. Do you agree to release copyright ownership of the resulting code of this project to me, so you can no longer use this code for your own projects, but we will have 100% ownership of it?
