BRIEF:
Overview:
Spaceway are looking to instruct a company that can both expertly advise, critique and propose enhancements to their current Sales Proposal documentation.
Therefore we are seeking a company with a proven reputation and expertise in Sales Proposal documentation writing. Specifically the layout and content of a Sales Proposal to ensure Spaceway are the leading provider of industrial workspace solutions in the UK.
Background:
Spaceway have been successfully trading for over 40 years. Using a proven and long established sales proposal document that is compiled, written, printed and posted to prospect clients. This document is very lengthy and contains a plethora of broad ranging information and supporting documentation.
On average a Spaceway Sales Proposal document can be between 15 and 25 pages. As stated earlier it is an A4 printed document that is then comb-bound with full colour card Spaceway branded front and back covers. We will provide a redacted example of a Spaceway Sales Proposal for your perusal.
Expectations:
Initially we are looking for a company to answer or advise on the following questions:
1. How can the current level of content be presented and formatted better?
2. Do we need to include all of the current content in its current format and order?
3. Would the sales proposal benefit from being presented in a new format?
4. Is there relevant content that should be added or considered?
5. What makes a sales proposal marketing leading and outstanding in its field?
Process:
The company we choose to partner with, will work directly with the Sales Directors and Owners of Spaceway.
Our expectations is to work with a company who will give expert guidance on what makes a great Sales Proposal. Then consider mandatory aspects that we must include in our sales proposals, but giving advice on optional elements to be included at initial or follow up stage.
The expectation is to focus solely on content and readability. The impactfulness of the information and how it is presented. Not necessarily on the design of the Spaceway Sales Proposal.
Design is an aspect that we are open minded about. If a company can offer design advice that meets our marketing and brand guidelines, this would be seen as a bonus. But in essence we are seeking a company who are experts in Sales Proposal writing. Who will provide a proposal of what we need to do to revamp or reinvent to evolve our current sales proposal documentation.
Once this is defined, we can then consider design and Spaceway branding elements that will enhance the content and format.
Timeframes & Brief Contact:
Ideally we are looking to have images ready for initial sales pitches to the Sales Director of Spaceway by the 10th April. These ‘pitched’ can be in person at our Romsey office, or via Skype or telephone.
Finally I'll provide a sample of the document to all shortlisted people this Friday to allow time to prepare for the pitch.
