The?American Gastroenterological Association (AGA)?is looking for a?freelance?videographer and editor who has experience filming and editing talking head and man-on-the-street interviews.?Specifically, we want a videographer that has experience filming interviews in a variety of settings with varying light and audio quality,?and turning those?interviews into quality promotional material.?
Filming will be taking place Friday, Sept. 20, and Sunday, Sept. 22, 2019, at the Ritz-Carlton Tyson’s Corner Hotel during AGA’s committee meetings. The interviewees will be high-profile gastroenterologists and subject matter experts covering upcoming programing and events. Talking points will be provided.

Our brand guideline, including opening/closing slides and lower thirds, will be provided for editing. We are set up for an Adobe Premiere/After Effects/Creative Cloud workflow. AGA will also provide a backdrop for filming.
Project specifications:?
Hold pre-production call with AGA staff 1 week prior to filming.
Film 5-10 scheduled video interviews during AGA’s committee meetings on Friday, Sept. 20, and Sunday, Sept. 22, 2019. We anticipate each interview to take 15 minutes to film. We anticipate Friday to be a full day of filming. Only one video will be filmed on Sunday, Sept. 22. AGA staff will provide the final schedule 1 week prior.
1 interview will be man-on-the-street style and require editing together multiple brief remarks.
Provide raw footage of videos to AGA after filming of last interview.
Edit video and audio, including adding brand specific intro and end slides, graphics, lower thirds and overall branding. Each video will be under 5 minutes in length.
Provide rough cut of videos two weeks after filming.
Each video will be reviewed by AGA staff and may require?several?rounds of edits.?Make requested edits within 1 week
Application must include:
Your hourly rate
A resume specifying relevant experience
Your demo reel (including talking-head interview samples)
A list of your filming equipment including cameras, mics, lights, reflectors, etc.
Must be based in the Washington, D.C. area — AGA will not reimburse travel costs.?
All applications must be submitted by Sept. 9, 2019.
