- Description
- This is an audio recording project in Norwegian language. You will be provided with a link where you will get phrases in Norwegian. You just need to use our web-based tool, and record your voice by pressing the mic symbol on the display and reading out/ recording the phrases.
Here are some sample phrases:

- navn kan være skrevet på forskjellige måter i ulike kilder
I need multiple people to do this job. One can record only 1000 phrases. It will take around 1:30 hours in average to complete the work.
Compensation: The pay would be USD 35 for 1000 recordings. Payment would be done in 4-7 days upon verification of work done. For payment method, we can use Paypal or Upwork for example which will create an escrow and thus you can be assured of the payment
Required: Male/ Female above age 16.
Device: PC or Android devices only. IOS devices not eligible.
Steps:
• Please copy the provided link and open it using Google Chrome browser (Will provide this work link once we start working together)
• You will be asked to select the country every time you open this link on a new device
• Select Norway or whichever country the person is in (the language of the user terms will be in that country’s language), navigate to the end of the page and press “I have read and agree to the terms”.
• Before you get started with the recordings, you will need to input User Identifier. I will provide you that.
And once you get that id, please fill the details like id, gender and age on the system. Once you fill in the details, the mic button on the center will be activated and you can start recording.
• You will see phrases on the screen.
You just need to read out the phrases by pressing the mic button once and again pressing the mic button to stop the recording. Note: You do not need to translate just read out. Once you start, read out and press the mic button again to stop, a new phrase will appear on your screen instantly.
• Your recordings will be automatically uploaded to the server and the status will be visible on the lower left corner of your screen. Please make sure you have a good internet connection while doing the recordings so that the recordings won’t fail to upload to the server.
• You need to continue the same process until 1000 recordings are done and uploaded to the server.
You don’t need to count the recordings manually. As soon as 1000 recordings are uploaded to the server, the system will alert “There is no more in your session” and the work is completed for a single id. You can either complete all of them in 1 sitting or complete it within 24 hours.
• The same process is repeated for each unique user/id.
IMPORTANT:
? You do not need to translate any words. Please just read out the phrases exactly as displayed.
? Record in a quiet environment.
No background noise, including fan noise, TV, music, radio, people speaking in the background, etc.
? Hold your phone at arm’s length when recording.
? Do not add any extra noise/fidgeting sounds like mouse clicking or tapping phone with nails etc.
? Make sure you re-enter the same “user identifier” if you close the app so that your utterances will not be lost. If you close the app, the utterance count will go back to zero, but as long as you enter the same user identifier, your recordings will not be lost.
? Speak naturally, as if you are talking to other people.
? Once you complete few recordings, please click on the play icon on the lower left of the screen to hear your previous recordings. This will help you figure out if the recordings are properly done.
Once you are done recording, I will have to verify your work to release the payment. Remember incomplete work and if above mentioned way is not followed and quality is compromised, you will not be eligible for the pay. So, please take care about the quality factors.
And I need about a day or two to do the verification.
