- I'm making a video presentation about an open source project, to create a mathematical model of the world by using fundamental laws of physics and video data. I need copyright free video of some film set in Hollywood. For example, footage of a Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood. The video should NOT contain faces of people who don't necessarily want to be in the video. (But also preferably no blurring of faces)
There's this fun interesting question, whether a model like that would give a high probability to a world where an alien from far away observed the stars that contain the video data , and come here to carry a tv along the path that our camera took.
Could it be that, we have the state of the world at the big bang or the behavior of dark matter or something, so badly modeled, that a configuration that leads to the world being like it is, is much less likely than a configuration that evolves to a configuration of galaxies that encode in them all of our video information. And that it's also probable that somewhere in our model universe, some kind of intelligent being was born, somehow, doesn’t really matter how, and together the too large probabilities make it probable that when the intelligent being was looking at the stars, it became reprogrammed to come here and make our world be like we see it?
I call this Hollywood by aliens problem, because it suggest that the film sets in Hollywood, aren’t actually film sets, they are in a sense, film sets of film sets, built by an aliens.
