Small but growing IT service company in Philadelphia is seeking to hire a local subcontractor to assist with answering a growing number of telephone technical support requests from an existing client base.

The volume of calls will vary between 1 and 10 per day, and will require a support tech with a flexible schedule. Calls will generally require tech to talk caller through a resolution and/or remote into their computer system to resolve the issue.

The ideal candidate will be based in the Philadelphia area and should have a minimum of 3 years experience providing technical support to business computer users in a Windows environment. You will be required to have a working PC or laptop and use a VOIP based softphone to receive calls and return calls. After a 30 day probation period, the support tech may be issued a physical VOIP desk phone for telephone support work.

This position can include onsite support work.
