- Looking to have very small RFID reader/writer (for very simple 1-100 codes) designed as a magic trick.
Must have the following features:
1. Very small device that can be hidden on wrist (as an example)
2. Rechargeable unit. Ideal run time of 2-3 hours on a charge.
3. Unit can read and write tags.
4. Device vibrates when reading RFID tags corresponding to unit value of tag (#1 - #100). So, #1 would be a single short vibration, #2 would be two short vibrations, #5 would be one long vibrations, #6 would be one long, one short vibration, etc.
4. Secondary app functionality, which sends a visual signal to iOs and/or Android devices (this might be a number or something more specific which can be easily user programmed to corresponds to each # tag. For example, if the device were 'reading' CD (music) covers, #1 might send an image of that CD (Lady Gaga for example), #2 would be Coldplay, etc.
I am interested in the cost of having a single prototype developed to start, with the intention of producing larger numbers once it has been tested in the field. So I am looking for someone who could produce these at a cost effective rate.
This tech does already exist in the magic community, but I am interested in something that is smaller and can be customized/modified (in the visual app).
