- Description
- We require 16 short reviews summarising peer-reviewed literature. Each topic is relating to the evidence to support the use of a relatively new natural health supplement for treatment of different specific health conditions. We need you to correlate the evidence and summarise the supporting studies, supplying papers quoted with each review. The 16 topics are outlined below relating to the use of the supplement for:
Treating menopause in women
Treating hormonal imbalance in women
Treating fertility in men and women
Treating metabolic syndrome (diabetes, heart disease)
Treating chronic fatigue, fibro, chronic inflammation and auto-immunity
Treating thyroid related conditions
Treating mental health (anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar)
Treating sexual function and libido in men
Treating adrenal dysfunction and fatigue
Treating prostate issues and benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH)
Treating brain trauma, cognitive issues, stroke or motor-neural conditions
Treating MS with maca
Treating sleep disorders
Treating Acne with maca
Treating osteoporosis (Bone density)
Improving Athletic performance
We require reviews to be only 1-3 paragraphs in length depending on the depth of research behind the topic and require a referenced summary discussing the results. With each study include reference to the patient baseline type(s), the type and dose of supplement used, dosing regime, results, statistical correlations and conclusions. The data is to be used on a website blog series that assists customers and HCPs to make informed decisions about using the supplement in treatment. Please note that the final audience is not likely scientifically knowledgeable so summaries are best in more simple terminology but the body of review can be scientifically written.
With each summary create and include a classification based on the strength of the evidence in the studies (for example):
A Strong evidence - Human controlled clinical trial expressing positive results vs placebo
B-Animal controlled clinical trial expressing positive results vs placebo
C-No direct head to head trial but other clinical evidence (in vitro or case studies etc)
D-No clinical data but theoretical mechanistic evidence to support its use
E-No evidence to support
F-Evidence apposing the clinical claim
Please quote per individual topic and also for the whole series. We may check your first review before committing to the remaining 15.
