- I have a Mitsubishi Spyder Eclipse Convertible and a microswitch needs to be replaced. The microswitch is in the trunk and I have fixed it myself however, I couldn't do it well enough so the contact keeps coming lose. I can guide with exactly what needs to be done. A new microswitch will have to be bought and then the wires to the existing microswitch cut and the new microswitch will have to be connected to the wires before being attached to the body.
