I am looking a quote for a project.
I am building awareness before running a Kickstarter campaign. I currently have a Wix website and am happy with that. I want to create a quiz/game as a hook to draw attention to my website. I am happy for this to be completed separately from my Wix pages.
The game will resemble a fantasy football draft. The user will have a welcome message then begin. They will be given the choice of 4 football players which will display their name and position. They will choose one and move onto the next round where they will be given another 4 players etc. There will be 11 rounds meaning 11 players will be chosen for their team. They are only allowed a certain number in each position so as the round progress, eg they already have 4 midfielders then there will be a shadow over that choice and they can not choose it. Also a small box at the top says how many they have pick eg GK 0 Def 2 mid 4 fwd 1. The round will be timed at 9 seconds each and will auto choose if no one is chosen in that time. Each player will have a certain number of points associated with them which won't be visible to the user. At the end their team will be displayed and the total points for their team can be calculated. To view their score users must insert their email into a mailing list. Users will then be shown their score and given the option to share it on social media.
The choices will be the same for every user. The points will not change, they are not live. I do not need an admin area. The majority of uses will be using mobile so it needs to be friendly. I only have a Wix site so will need help with servers etc. I have no clue how this all works so basically want a link I can post on social media to raise awareness. It is to be very simple and quick to use.
My only concern is if there are high levels of traffic, does this slow it down?
