Description
Our client is looking for a dynamic and agile software firm to develop a Customer Mobile App, Merchant Mobile App, Web / Mobile site, based on following directions:

Business:
Our client provides discounted merchant deals to its customers, who would buy the deals from within the app. The merchant will then be cleared financially at the end of the payment cycle. On the other hand, the customer may not buy the deal but rather avail the deal by visiting the merchant. The customer will show the deal to the merchant on his/her mobile app and the merchant will then enter the merchant’s pin to confirm. The customer can also buy services of the merchants that are not offered under the deal, but are rather standard services at the standard rates. The bookings can be made from within the app. The app will automatically do the financials and credit and debit merchant account based on these transactions. Moreover, the Customers are able to buy the ‘Products’ also from within the app.

Functionality

a. Customer App:

i. Deals, Services & Products:
The ‘Deals’, ‘Services’, and ‘Courses’ can be bought from within the app. Also, the customer can book the appointments from within the app. The appointments booked will show up on the merchant’s app. The app will have the ‘Products’ tabs through which the company will see the products directly to the customers from within the app.

ii. App & Layout:
The app would show the ‘New Today’ section for all the deals starting that day. When a ‘Deal’ is finalized between the company and the merchant, the deal would be agreed upon for promotion for a longer period of time. However, in reality, the deal would be promoted for a few days only and then hidden from the system. It would be reappear after a short time, to keep the site looking fresh. ‘Deals’ on flash sales & time sensitive deals to be taken care of in coding and there promotion must be kept in mind.

iii. Customer Wallet, Affiliate Commission:
The customers are offered a certain sum of money as incentive in their account when they download the app. The incentive can only be en cashed when the buy a ‘Deal’, and not when they buy any “Service’, ‘Courses’ or ‘Product’. It cannot all be availed in one deal but rather in 4 to 5 deals.

iv. Enhanced Customer Reports:
The detailed customer reports are presented to the admin including sales numbers, types of searches, most searched and looked for deals, highest spending customers, most selling merchants, customer demographics and analytics.

v. Seamless Search Feature:
The app must contain the seamless and most robust search functionality as customers search more in this line of business and all the right keywords to be added at the time of adding the ‘Deal’ and ‘Services’. The system must have the functionality to add those keywords in place.

b. Merchant App:

i. Merchant Account & Registration:
Merchant is added into the system through Merchant account where all Deals, Services and Products are added by the Merchant and shown to the Merchant. A Merchant can register directly but is later approved by the sales team of the company. The system will automatically appoint a Sales Representative to the Merchant and an email will be automatically sent to the Merchant and the Sales Representative will a meeting booked.

ii. Merchant Dashboard:
Merchant Dashboard contains all the functionalities that the merchant would require including ‘Deals’, and ‘Services’ description and the ones being promoted. Plus, the Dashboard will show Merchant, the number of views of deals, page views, and times their ‘Deals’ and ‘Services’ are visited and the number of times their brand is mentioned, shown in search results and being discussed.

iii. Merchant Appointment System:
Merchant Appointment System is a system on which all merchant appointments are booked. All the ‘Deals’, ‘Services’, and ‘Courses’ that the customer buys through the company app are depicted in appointments here. Also, the merchant can book the appointment of its own clients and from other sources on this app as well. In order to book the appointment of its own customer, a Merchant must have the customer’s name, email and phone number in order to book it.

iv. Merchant App Data Sync:
All the customers’ data is synced daily with the company’s server for cross tabulation and data research purposes. This data includes the data of the customers the app has booked for the clients and the merchant’s own customer’s data, including the services taken and the amounts paid. The merchant and its employees can access the system (based on the permissions set by merchant for its employees) on the desktop and on mobile app as well.

The main requirements include:
