The Social Content Manager is responsible for all day to day digital and social media marketing, as well as assisting the marketing team on wider projects.
They will own the social media and blogging strategy and be responsible for all internal and external e-marketing communications.
The ideal candidate will come from a fast paced, marketing environment and will have gained experience in a comparable role where you are coordinating activity across all areas of Social Media and will have a good track record creating exciting engaging campaigns with drive growth.
You are passionate about Social and you live and breathe Beauty, and understand the complexities and nuances of both landscapes because you are an avid user and fan. You are naturally curious, always seeking out best practise examples, and love to break down barriers with new ways of doing things. You will have strong experience with building and engaging with social communities and know how to use data driven insights to improve and optimised content strategies.
The Ideal Candidate
• You should be tenacious, self-motivated and able to communicate effectively at all levels with an inquisitive and innovative approach.
• Good communication skills are essential as is a flexible working approach
• A positive attitude and pride in your work, showing attention to detail and quality control are essential
• The Social Media Manager for Beauty must be able to demonstrate an active interest in the Beauty industry
• They should have a clear understanding of all Social Media platforms, including but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter
• Has an analytical mind and is able to interpret numbers and data into actionable insights
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn; enthusiasm is a must
• A natural communicator – confident in presenting ideas and Social thinking to different parts of the business
• An excellent organiser who can multitask and prioritise multiple projects and deadlines
• Can work under pressure, with the ability to be reactive and flexible in a fast-paced environment
• An obsessive attention to detail and a track record of operating in a fast-paced environment is essential
• Strong interest in and understanding of the digital media landscape, particularly within Social Media
• Interest in the Beauty industry is a plus
This is an ongoing role that does NOT need to be in house we are very flexible. We can discuss a salary alternative.
