- Description
- I’m in process of taking a domain name on AWS (or anywhere else) to build a web application in PHP and My SQL. The development will be done by an offshore developer. Let ‘s call the domain www.example.com
Here is what I need:
1. Configure a LAMP application in Amazon Lightsail.
2. Create a sub domain – text.example.com and point to this LAMP server.
3. Give instructions (document) on how my offshore developer can upload PHP files, create Database (as developer currently works only in C-Panel) and how I can create userid / pw to give my developer
4. Document on how I can change the credentials should by developer leave and my test server should be secure.
5. Once development is complete, I’ll take another server and point it to www.example.com.
6. Deployment document on how I can get all PHP files and Database from my developer and upload to the server pointing to example.com (as I would not like to share credentials with developer)
7. Document on how I can automate regular backups of my live website on a regular basis (or manual backup) and what is restore process should something happen.
