- Hi I am wanting to scrape all hotel rates worldwide every 10 minutes for a full year. I know its impossibly to get just one freelancer to do this so I will be asking multiple freelancers to do this job.
First I would like to know how many api calls per day you are capable of making.
Things to know about this task
1.) I need hotel rates for booking.com/expedia/hotels personal website (no other rates fro other websites)
2.) To scrape these rates off these sites you can use either Tripadvisor/Kayak/Trivago to do so. I dont care which site you scrape off.
3.) I need each hotels cheapest rate for "capacity", so cheapest rate to hold 1 person, 2 people, 3 people, 4 people, 5 people, 6 people. (look at diagram one in attachment to understand this point more clearly).
Other notes;
1.)I don't actually need to know the rates every 10 minutes for a hotel. I just really need to know the exact time when a hotel changes its rates. This could save us having to call out to get rates!!! Sometimes there won't be any changes of rates in the market for hours. Like from 12am to 7am in the morning. Maybe with that information at your disposal you can find a solution.
2.) Maybe you don't need to click on every hotel individually to get hotel rates. Maybe you can just go on a site such as tripadvisor and scrape rates on the "search result page" which has a listing on many hotels and you can scrape rates that way. This strategy too could save us lots of api CALL OUTS! Refer to image two in the attached file to seem more clearly what I mean by this. Maybe with that information at your disposal you can find a solution.

When are you able to start scraping and be able to send me actual rate data?
