Description: Linux Server System Admin Review

We need an expert Linux SysAdmin to review and improve our current application (LAMP) and other server set-ups. We host 20+ servers (cloud / hybrid) at 3 different UK providers, and need a review of status of server configs and backup processes, best practice advice and recommendations on how best to manage processes going forward. We have a team of DevOps who know their way around a server, but we require additional independent review and improvements, including if applicable for effective admin tools.

Part of the deliverables include education on how to configure, monitor and optimise going forward.

We would like to know more about options such as moving the MySQL databases to AWS.

This is a project which can be delivered in stages (for example by hosting company) over several days / weeks as needed.
It will be managed by a business user, not IT/dev, so communication in plain English is essential.

Provider must be UK based.
