Library in Python for a math parser software

Description: I am already developing a software which will function as a 'smart math teaching assistant'. Now I am stuck with a library which provide me;
1) Unlimited umber of parenthesis
2) Implicit multiplication
3) Power, root, log, exponent
4) I have tried to use expression parser library for python but it has a problem which I don't want. That is ; It needs input of power function to be written like "pow(x,2)" but since it is a math assistant, normal students will try like"x^2" .Therefore, input should have the ability for simple method option.
5)For Input : it should be able to input the value of the variable. Beside that, should be able to input only values.
6) Output shouldn't be string type but rather float, integer etc. (we can discuss about it)
This part is to show functionality of the library
VERY SIMPLE PYTHON PROJECT TO IMPLEMENT THE ABOVE LIBRARY. TO SHOW IT'S IMPLEMENTATION.
