I want to develop an extension that helps in adding leads and contacts to salesforcer without having to go salesforce dashboard and it also pref-fills some of the info. Something similar to what salespath does.

SalesPath's Chrome Extension enables you to get deeper insights by surfacing a direct window into your Salesforce CRM from LinkedIn. The SalesPath sidebar enables you to cross-reference, update/edit and add new records to Salesforce without leaving the page you're on.
