I’m looking for a devops engineer with Jenkins & Java project experience.
A little bit of background …
I’m launching a hosted CI service providing fast builds for large software projects. All tests run in parallel on Google Compute Engine virtual machines.
Long build times should be reduced to under 5 mins. No more waiting around :)
Deliverables:
1. Take one long running build from https://builds.apache.org (e.g. Cassandra) & set it up on my CI service.
2. Write documentation so software developers can set up their own builds.
The GitHub marketplace is one of my marketing channels - they require at least 100 installations. If this project is successful there are plenty more in the pipeline!
Can you let me know in your application about previous relevant experience with large Jenkins & Java projects please.
