Description: We have a magento 2 template that we purchased that appears to be rather bloated and comes with a plugin for configuring this.

In the interests of getting our website as fast as possible we would like to create a new template based on this design made with bootstrap 4 and not using any plugin, i.e the menu & slider is set within the files instead of needing to query database

This template must be as lightweight as possible, and built for speed. Using bootsraps built in plugins wherever possible instead of adding a third party plugin. This must be compatible with having the Javascript loading at the bottom of the page (speed related) aswell as having the css loading after the website has finished and critical above fold CSS in the header

I can provide guidance where needed on best speed related practices for performance however don't have the magento knowledge to build a theme.
