C code for SC16IS752/SC16IS762 Dual UART - AVR ATMEGA

Description: I need the code to access a SC16IS752/SC16IS762 Dual UART chip via i2C bus (not SPI).
The code must be written in c (not cpp).
Two versions:
1) A main program that continuosly polls the chip.
2) A main program with an interrupt based management of the chip SC16IS752
SC16IS752.c SC16IS752.h separated from the main.c

The main.c SC16IS752.c SC16IS752.h must be clearly documented.

The main board is equipped with an ATMEGA 1284.
AVR codes are preferred.
Arduino is still OK. I translate it to AVR.
