Description: I am an artist working with automation and am working on a new 'self-destructing' film work that digitally glitches frames. I require a script for automating some of this video production - an AppleScript to automate the following workflow (I am running Mac OS Catalina and have been attempting this myself but am having difficulty with bugs as a novice script writer so require someone to do this for me) :
Select random image from a folder of images (sequential .jpg's extracted from a movie)
Open image as 'text' via TextEdit
Select random text line from file [exclude X number of lines as 'header']
Delete that text line
Save this new 'text' as/append .jpg [this will create a hacked/glitched image] to replace the original in folder of images
Open the folder of images 'open image sequence in QuickTime' (24fps, h.264 1080p)
Save movie as some file name
Play Movie
Repeat
