Description: Working from home , but miss having a challenging position where you feel a part of something ? If you are interested in a role that is still challenging and rewarding . Then this could be what you have been looking for.

I am the managing director of a group of property development companies in London and a 4-star hotel in Hampshire.

This is a serious position for VA who is serious about providing a professional long term service.

I am looking for more than a VA to perform routine administrative tasks. I am basically looking for someone who quite simply will become my right hand.

You will be expected to not just be able to do the following , but to a high degree of proficiency:

Routine admin tasks
Gatekeeper
Dealing with my email accounts in a very prompt manner
Written communication is of paramount importance.Your ability to concisely and professionally construct each communication, with the right level of directness while maintaining the highest level of politeness , will be a key feature in selecting someone for this role,
Tracking and chasing various suppliers/consultants etc
Keeping track of my expenses
Liaising with various suppliers/consultants by phone and confirming in writing.

I am not listing all the usual admin tasks as it is taken for granted you will be able to do these and find ways to improve efficiency

Your key task will be dealing with various contacts at a senior level. This would include , various surveyors , architects , bankers, solicitors , estate agents , and various contractors for example.

Your ability to source and obtain quotes will be key.

You will be expected to deal with complex issues , where various reports etc will be needed to be read and understood.

Dropbox , email , skype while I am abroad , all office software and full office setup is a must.

I have stated 30 hours a week average, It could be more. It will all depend on the following key points:
I do not have to chase you
You are available when you say you are ( I understand school run etc )
You do not have to be given the same instructions twice
You are unbelievably organised .
You are able to make my work life more efficient.
You religiously take notes,so even passing instructions are followed.
Attention to detail.
Communication is always backed by email.

Key point
Your ability to take instructions and understand a task in a reasonable amount of time, and then carry them out , with an eye for detail and accuracy will be the difference between a short-term trial and the ability to have even more than the stated hours on an ongoing basis. You will be expected to monitor your time properly and fairly.

I currently have a pipeline of development projects of sites I already own till 2022, with around 300 flats. We have two projects at construction stage right now , which will be ready to let at the end of the year.

Any experience in any aspect of property , management , development , maintenance etc should be highlighted.

Availability is key . Please give accurate information on times , and any dates you are away this year.
I understand the needs of the school run , however, with smartphones, you should still be able to balance. A strict 5.30 finish may not always be possible in the long run.

Please send me a full CV , listing any experience in the areas I have mentioned , and why it should be you. Uk based only , non-UK will be ignored. Anyone without following the application guidelines will be ignored. I reserve the right to trail anyone for say 5 hours or so , maybe more than one person. 30 hours a week is a serious position , only the very experienced should apply. Immediate start .

Although it is a remote position. The ability to travel to London to either a site or for a meeting could be an advantage worth stating.
