- I own a landscape company in Houston, Tx. and have been in business for 22 yrs. I recently scaled down my business after my husband passed away and now need help handling bookkeeping, creating proposals, customer accounts, job orders and scheduling, as well as some personal online tasks, so I can get back in the field and work with my customers. I have been using Quickbooks Online to invoice monthly but the account is a mess and needs to be recreated. I have also looked into using a software called Yardbooks for specific Lawn Care scheduling and proposals.
Would like an assistant who has some experience with field service management software. In particular, general knowledge of plants and\or previous experience working with a company in the Landscape Contracting field would be a plus, but not mandatory. I would like to setup social media and a website sometime in the near future, but first, I need to get my finances and life organized and efficient. I am in need of someone to setup and run reports for my personal finances as well as business profit and loss. handle accounts payable and send proposals to customers. Proficiency in english and attention to detail, as well as proper grammar is necessary as well as a somewhat flexible schedule. I am a single mom and business owner, so my schedule is often outside of normal business hours. The right candidate will help me to change that!
I am starting this project by breaking down my goals into small 'one-off' tasks until I find a 'good fit' for my company, At which time the position would be ongoing part time work with the potential for full time as I become more organized and efficient, allowing the opportunity to acquire more customers. Duties will include the full range of small business administrative tasks. My preference is to hire someone who can provide many\all services rather than having several different freelancers for each task. The need to begin work would be immediate.
