Charming illustrator, educator and things maker Meg Hunt

Posted 27 February 2019

Meg Hunt is an illustrator, a drawing teacher and just an imaginative person from Portland, Oregon USA.

In some works, Meg uses both the traditional and the digital approach, in which the drawings are painted with digital technology with texture pencils, more ink in layers and colored paints to complete the illustration.

She became famous after illustrating Interstellar Cinderella by Chronicle Books in 2015 and receiving a Gold Medal from the Society of Illustrators for Illustrators in Uncommissioned category. And now Meg focuses on creating colorful character-based illustrations, lettering, patterns, product design, gift cards, animations, children's books, textiles and all sorts of things.
